German Oncology Databases: Options and Assessment

This paper summarizes available German oncology data sources that can be potentially used for Real World Evidence Studies. It concludes that there is no ideal data source, but that study objectives drive the decision to use claims data, oncology EMR data or to do a Medical Chart Review or Prospective Observational Study.
